Back Again: Music Educators presenting Music from Baroque to Broadway

Area educators come together to provide an evening of music in strings, voice, winds, and percussion. From solos to ensembles, the night will feature some of the best musicians who serve our community and the surrounding area in the field of music education.
A Celebration of Christmas Music
December 3, 2019, 7 p.m.
A true gift of Christmas unfolds as the ABAC music ensembles gather to give the Tifton Community a night of holiday music. This concert will feature many of ABAC’s music ensembles such as The Chamber Singers, Jazz Choir, Jazz Band, and the music faculty.
This concert will cost $10 for adults and $5 for those under 10. All proceeds will go toward ABAC music student scholarships.
Music for the Harpsichord and the Piano

Enjoy an evening of elegant European keyboard music from the 16th to the 18th century. This recital will feature music from two of the most flourishing periods in music history for keyboard instruments, the Baroque Period and the Romantic Period. Huang
will showcase the beauty of these musical eras with her virtuoso technique and unique music interpretation.
The Dave Potter Jazz Quartet
February 4, 2020, 7 p.m.
Following his Summit Records debut CD You Already Know, Dave Potter emerged as a leader in his genre. With his unique style focused on blending the past and present history of jazz with an ear toward the future, Potter thrills audiences. Without a doubt, Potter has managed to find a group concept that resonates with audiences of all ages from lifelong jazz aficionados to first-time listeners. This jazz concert will be over the top!
Back to Broadway

As an annual tradition, we will close our First Tuesday Concert Series with the sounds of Broadway. The fabulous show tunes will thrill your soul! Performers this year will include ABAC music graduates, current auditioned music students, and music and theater faculty members.
